Sustainability, climate change, Green living and Green business are quickly gaining ground in the American consciousness. These ideas and choices are no longer just for tree-huggers, cultural creatives and early adopters. Today, 94% of Americans are willing to make changes in their lives to help the environment -- and 93% say companies have a responsibility to help preserve the environment. No doubt, the Green Wave is well underway.
GreenWave Strategies was founded back when many people thought environmentalism was dead and the planet was doomed. We saw a different situation, tremendous possibilities: new attitudes and behaviors that could engender a much brighter future. We personally knew people and positive stories that could inspire a broad audience -- yet at the time were invisible to mainstream media and the general public. We saw the early swells of the worldwide Green awakening that today is engaging ordinary people of all sorts. We knew that outstanding communications, marketing and outreach would be crucial to expanding awareness and inspiring behavior changes. That is our contribution. We work with leaders in the private, public, and nonprofit sectors to shift not only their own practices but entire industries and communities toward sustainability.
